Title-How to move all your appraisals to a new computer
Overview-If you purchased a new computer and want to move all your appraisals to the new computer, you can use the instructions below.
Highlights-This procedure involves installing Collectorpro on the new computer and copying all the appraisals to the new computer at one time.
Prerequisites-Both computers must be running the same version of Collectorpro and you must have a way to copy files from the oldr computer to the new computer such as a removable disk, or direct wire, or network connection.
Step by Step Instructions
1. Check to see what version of Collectorpro you have on the old computer by clicking on Help-About Collectorpro from the menu bar.
2. Update Collectorpro on the old computer to the latest version. To find out the latest version of Collectorpro click here.
3. Install Collectorpro on the new computer and update it to the latest version.
4. To copy all your appraisals from the old computer to the new computer copy the entire "c:\Program Files\appraiser" folder, and all sub-folders to the "c:\Program Files\appraiser" folder on the new computer and overwrite any existing files.
5. Start Collectorpro on the new computer and everything should be moved.
